Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how Simple Carbon processes personal data collected through this website, in accordance with Brazilian Law 13.709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

1. Who the controller is

Simple Carbon is the controller of the personal data processed on this website. For any matter relating to privacy and data protection, the contact is [email protected].

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide in the website forms: name, company, phone, work email, the challenges you select and your message, where filled in.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, and we do not request identity documents, bank details or financial information through this website.

3. How we use the data

We use the data to get in touch and run the demo you requested, answer questions about the platform and the methodology, tailor the presentation to your operation, and send confirmation that we received your request.

We do not use your data for targeted advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, collected explicitly in the forms (art. 7, I of the LGPD), and on legitimate interest for the preliminary steps of a commercial relationship that you initiated (art. 7, V).

5. Sharing and processors

Data is stored in a database under our responsibility. We use infrastructure and email delivery providers acting as processors, handling data solely under our instructions. We may also share data where there is a legal obligation or a determination from a competent authority.

6. How long we keep it

We keep the data for as long as the commercial relationship or interest in the platform lasts, and for up to 24 months after the last contact. After that period the data is deleted, unless retention is required by law.

7. Security

We apply technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure, including encrypted transmission, restricted access control and periodic review of our protection mechanisms.

8. Cookies

This website uses only cookies necessary for it to function. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used. Should analytics tools be adopted, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before activation.

9. Your rights

The LGPD gives you the right to confirm that processing exists, access your data, correct incomplete or outdated data, request anonymisation, blocking or deletion, request portability, obtain information about sharing, and withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We respond within 15 days.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
